PALO CEDRO, Calif. -

Redding Christian and Chrysalis Charter Schools are both on lockdown as police search for a triple homicide suspect.

The schools both said they were on precautionary lockdown as law enforcement searches for a suspect in a Shingletown triple homicide.

The suspect, 45-year-old Shane Miller, has red hair and blue eyes. He may be driving a gold Dodge megacab pickup or a green and tan Ford Excursion.

Some are saying that the suspect was seen in the area of the Palo Cedro schools. A representative from Chrysalis Charter School said the fact that the suspect was seen near the schools is "just talk" at this point.
