A Redding woman held a horse ride-along in memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Julie Tumino along with her supporters started riding early Wednesday morning.
They rode near a field off Commercial Way in Redding.
Tumino said her annual ride started back in 2002.
The concept is simple, ride sun up to sun down in memory of those who died,
and those who risk their lives in service to the country.
Her son is in the armed forces.
"To come out here and show my support for how much they sacrificed for us...I don't want people to forget about it, it was life changing for so many people and its changing lives daily now," Tumino said.
Anyone who wanted to join in was able to ride along in support.
Tumino said she will continue riding for as many years as she can.
