Shasta's Most Wanted leads to 3 arrests

REDDING, Calif. -

 Redding police sent out a press release Wednesday announcing the arrest of three individuals wanted for sentencing who had been captured after appearing on the Shasta County's Most Wanted feature.

Willie Vess, 23, who was wanted on a felony warrant, was arrested Oct. 18 on Pleasant Street after police received an anonymous tip.

On Oct. 30 investigators received information that 56-year-old Lynn Culver was residing in a camp near Bechelli Lane and South Bonneyview Road. Culver who was wanted for a failure to appear on methamphetamine possession charges was taken into custody that same day.

Both men were booked into Shasta County jail.

Edward Vaughn was already in custody of authorities, in Klamath Falls, Ore., when Redding police investigators learned of his whereabouts. Vaughn, wanted for a failure to appear on kidnapping charges, is awaiting extradition to California pending charges in Oregon.

All three men were subjects featured on Shasta County's Most wanted.
