Two men were sentenced on Friday after being found guilty of first degree murder in June.
Kevin Lemmon and William Freed were found guilty of stabbing and killing Steven Johnson, of Redding, at the Hilltop Lodge in 2011. They were also found guilty of robbery and burglary charges.
Lemmon and Freed were both sentenced for life without parole for the murder charges. Freed was sentenced to an additional 13 years for the robbery and burglary charges and Lemmon was sentenced to nine years for the other charges.
A third man, Kenneth Matthews, was also involved. Matthews pleaded guilty in March to voluntary manslaughter and burglary in exchange for his testimony.
