It’s that time of the year to thank those wonderful dads for all they've done and there are different ways to do it.
One of the ways to celebrate is “Aviation Day" on Sunday. The local Experimental Aircraft Association is putting on a pancake breakfast. Local pilots will also be there displaying their aircraft. Hillside Aviation will give the public airplane rides for a small fee.
" Rides are done at 15 cents a pound,” said Hillside Aviation owner Jim Robinson. “Doing rides by weight is a tradition not just here but with other places i don't know how is started but we keep doing it."
Local CHP air operations along with Air Shasta will also be there. The event starts at seven in the morning and goes on till noon.
