Clearing skies and warmer temperatures this week.
The remainder of the clouds will continue to pull out this morning as high pressure builds in from the west. That high pressure area will increase the north winds as the day progresses and they could gust to 25mph this afternoon and evening. Overnight the winds will stay pretty high as well and will set us up for the warm high temperatures we’ll see throughout this week. From Tuesday on, our highs will be in the low 70s with nearly cloudless skies. The biggest threat will be from some gusty winds on Tuesday which could gust to 35mph Tuesday afternoon.
From Wednesday onward the winds will settle down and we’ll get to enjoy the fantastic weather through the end of the week. A weak upper level impulse will slightly dim the sunshine on Friday but will actually open the door for a stronger area of high pressure to move in Saturday and Sunday. That high will push temperatures even warmer, and we’re expecting highs to reach into the low 80s for the weekend.
