A weakening cold front will continue to push through the Northstate this morning and afternoon.  Behind today's front, high pressure will build in, bringing much warmer weather.

The chance for showers will continue through the rest of today  with temperatures struggling to get out of the 50s.  Any rain we do see will be very light and won’t amount to much with snow levels between 4,000 and 5,000 feet.

High pressure will start to build back over the Northstate this weekend with highs in the upper 60s on Saturday and mid 70s by Sunday.  It will be even warmer on Monday and Tuesday with temperatures in the low 80s under sunny skies.

An incoming trough off to our northwest is forecasted to break in half by nwxt Wednesday.  This will create a cut-off low off to our west out in the Pacific.  By the time it reaches the Northstate Thursday-Friday it will have little impact, except for some extra clouds and slightly cooler highs.  Rainfall looks minimal if non-existent as it moves in.
