Wedding ring found during Black Friday madness

REDDING, Calif. -

A precious piece of jewelry found in a Redding parking lot was most likely lost during the hustle and bustle of Black Friday.

"It may not be of much value, but I'm sure somebody really wants it back," explains George Cueva, the man searching for the ring’s rightful owner.

Cueva says his mom found the men’s wedding band on the ground in the Goodwill parking lot on Hilltop Drive in Redding.

"The ring’s a silver band, with the gold band over it and ... it rotates around the ring, and it has ‘Chris & Corina’ inscribed on it,” describes Cueva.

He posted as much information as he could, without giving too much away, about the wedding band in the Lost+Found section on Redding’s Craigslist.

"Somebody has real sentimental value for it, even if it's not worth much, and that's why I want to give it back,” says Cueva.

The ring’s rightful owner must be able to correctly identify the wedding date inscribed on the ring.

If you believe you are, or may know the ring’s owner, give our newsroom a call at (530) 243-7782 or email us at and we can notify Cueva.
